In Rabbi Eli's first year at Shavei Hebron, we were "a little" naughty.
After a few months, the rabbi made a heart-to-heart conversation with us and he said that at first he had a hard time and he considered giving up. Then he told us that this is exactly why he should continue and not give up.
When I was 30, I came to a meeting and there was an event outside. The rabbi was 30 meters away from me and I was not pleasant to approach him. Suddenly the rabbi stood next to me and asked "What about a wedding?" (How did he remember, 12 years had passed?)
I replied, "Some I do not want, and some girls."
The rabbi answered me: "Some you do not want, and some you make them not want."
