A few weeks before Yom Kippur, teacher Dina invited the whole class to their apartment for a 'musical surprise'.
We sat in the living room and without prior talk turned on "and gave validity" performed by vibrating cantors. Teacher Dina sat and got excited, moved with the music and managed to convey to us a sense of awe and upliftment .. and love.
Always love. She lives every moment like this at the height of power, gentleness and love.
And today, as a mother, I return to this moment time and time again when I hear an exciting song and try to stop and convey power and love to my children through music.
