Rabbi Eli and Rebbetzin Dina cannot be forgotten. My memory of them really lives on.

I was privileged to study with Rabbi Eli at the Quarter seminary in a teaching program. I remember the special light of his face, the abrasive eyes.

At the beginning of the year he would go over our names in the first lessons, ask each one her name, and each time marveled again at the discovery of Kibbutz Galuyot.

"Two wolves, you look Yemeni and your name is Wolf !!!" What a genuine excitement he had. And so one and another, Ashkenazi with a Sephardic name and vice versa, would really rejoice at it, lingering on every name.

His classes were orderly, fascinating. I can now recite his move on the nerve and the parable of the detachment from the root. And it's not because I usually remember lessons but because it was so accurate and went straight to the head and heart.

And Rebbetzin Dina ... our eyes were always on her. A noble woman with such good eyes, brightens the face of every student even those who are unfamiliar.

I really remember my expectation of being my fourth year educator.

The hard news caught me on a bus ride from the north to Jerusalem. My husband whispered this to me on the trip and I burst into tears and did not calm down until Jerusalem .. They thought around me that I had lost someone close. This loss so shocked me .. May their memory be blessed
