Suitable for children, but I recognized that the content of things is taken directly from the bindin

I once sat, at his invitation, in Rabbi Eli's class for second grade children. The lesson was about the binding of Isaac.

Rabbi Eli began sweetly, as children in second grade are told, and told about Yitzchak. Everything would sound like a bedtime story

Suitable for children. But I recognized that the content of things was taken directly from the explanation of the binding in the cost of evidence!

Only a great man with a deep understanding, a wonderful ability to simplify anything to the point of talking to second graders - and of course a man with acting talent - could deliver the brightest and deepest and sweetest lesson I have ever heard about the binding of Isaac.
